The feed industry offers horse owners a wide range of mash products to supplement their existing feed. These are all similarly formulated – containing bran and not suitable for daily feeding. AGROBS now offers a completely new type of mash with a unique composition.
AlpenGrün Mash is based on Prenatura fibers, which consist primarily of the leaves and seeds of warm air-dried grasses and herbs. These are characterized by a high content of natural vital substances such as trace elements, vitamins, and secondary plant compounds. Furthermore, the Prenatura fibers provide the horse with important, highly digestible crude fiber, which, thanks to its prebiotic properties, actively promotes intestinal health and the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. This reduces the number of putrefactive bacteria and gas-producing bacteria in the large intestine.
Flaxseed granules and psyllium seeds provide a high mucilage content, which coats the stomach and intestinal lining with a protective film. This helps maintain healthy mucous membranes and also aids the regeneration of irritated mucous membranes after illness, medication, deworming, or stress. The unsaturated fatty acids they also contain have a positive effect on skin and coat condition.
Gently dried beetroot, carrot, apple, and parsnip make ALPENGRÜN MASH particularly palatable. Even picky horses readily eat it without the addition of molasses. Furthermore, ALPENGRÜN MASH contains natural vital substances such as phytochemicals, vitamins, and minerals, as well as plenty of highly digestible pectins, which in turn benefit a healthy gut flora. Dried rosehip shells are known for their high vitamin C content – valuable for strengthening the immune system. The digestive properties of fennel and caraway round out ALPENGRÜN MASH.
By consciously omitting grain, bran and molasses, ALPENGRÜN MASH is also suitable for horses with sensitive metabolisms and is ideal for both daily feeding and as a course of treatment (e.g. after colic or during shedding)!

Feeding recommendation
- 80 - 100 g per 100 kg of target body weight
- Pour warm, but not boiling, water over AlpenGrün Mash, stir well, let it soak for about 5-10 minutes and feed lukewarm.
- If needed, AlpenGrün Mash can also be mixed with cold water and fed. The soaking time increases to 15 to 20 minutes.
- Mixing ratio of AlpenGrün Mash to water = 1:3 to 1:7 (Example: 0.5 kg AlpenGrün Mash : 1.5 l water).
