The Hófur "NoTurn" hoof boot is characterized by its light weight (S=60g; M=70g; L=80g). It protects the heels of the front hooves during training without significantly impacting the horse's movement due to its weight. These hoof boots are ideal for training or trail riding – especially for horses prone to stepping on their front hooves, as they also protect the horseshoes from being pulled off.
The material is dirt-repellent and water-resistant and can be securely and reliably closed with the double Velcro fastener. The inside of the boots is padded with neoprene, as is the upper edge, preventing chafing in the ankle area. A small wedge sewn into the inside of the back prevents the boots from slipping and gives them their name!
We offer the boot with our stylish logo in various colors. The standard size M fits almost all Icelandic horses.
