Fager Sabina, Titan, Mullen Mouth

We recommend the Mullen Mouth bar design for horses that require a high level of stability.
The bit's shanks and rings are shaped to prevent pinching of the corners of the mouth and to clarify the rider's signals. The curb chain can be unhooked on either side, distributing pressure evenly between the poll, jaw, and mouth.
The bit is somewhat reminiscent of a baby Pelham, but it provides a more flexible riding feel.
Excellent for riders looking for a bit that gives more precise signals than a snaffle, but is not as harsh as a curb bit with long shanks.
Designed and developed in collaboration with Sabina Swärd.
“I was looking for a competition bit for myself and my students that would allow for a precise connection with the horse. The bit needed to be light and soft in the horse's mouth and easy to handle. I had previously ridden in competitions with a baby Pelham, but many of my students told me they found riding with double reins somewhat difficult and complicated. Together with Fager, we developed a bit with extremely short shanks that is ridden with just one pair of reins. We also opted for a titanium mouthpiece, which the horses really appreciate. The lightness of the titanium helps the horse to be light in the hand as well.”
I hope that this bit can help other riders achieve the desired light, refined ride.”
