Our FRAKKI riding coat is perfect for the wet and cold autumn weather – it's waterproof with a 10,000mm water column rating, sealed seams, and welded zippers. This modern hooded raincoat in a contemporary style is ideal for riding Icelandic horses – in any weather, no matter what – it's a true favorite among Icelandic horse riders!
The robust outer material, made of 100% micro-coated polyester, boasts advanced technologies, is breathable, and waterproof (10,000 mm water column). Furthermore, the seams are fully sealed. Thanks to the long, zippered riding vent at the back and the two-way front zipper, the coat can also be worn while riding. The lined riding vent at the back provides kidney protection for your horse. Two leg loops allow you to secure the coat to your legs in windy conditions. Details such as the stowable, adjustable hood, the stand-up collar, the drawstring waist with a locking mechanism, the storm cuffs with thumbholes, the windproof placket over the main zipper, and various zippered pockets with magnetic closures complete the comfortable fit. Not to be forgotten is the removable inner lining – this allows the coat to be perfectly adapted to the outside temperature. Depending on the weather, you might want to keep your upper body and back cozy thanks to the inner vest, or you might "only" need the coat as rain protection and avoid sweating by removing the lining. The mesh material used on the inside ensures a comfortable feel and good ventilation.
Also worth mentioning are the reflective highlights distributed across the coat. The Ís Knapar logo is printed in a reflective material, and reflective strips are applied to key areas to enhance visibility and safety in the dark.
