Best support for building physical fitness
Some horses struggle to maintain a healthy body condition: they lose weight and muscle mass decreases. Feeding additional concentrated feed is often not the solution. Pavo WeightLift is free of grains, molasses, soy, and beet pulp, but rich in crude fiber and protein to support healthy weight gain. A major advantage of Pavo WeightLift is that it can be fed both dry and soaked.
The perfect condition for your horse
Thanks to its high content of essential amino acids and omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, your horse is supplied with all the important building blocks for fitness and muscle development. Combined with high-quality protein from alfalfa and energy from natural, highly concentrated rice bran, this improves overall body condition. Additionally, the rice bran and linseed oil ensure a perfectly glossy coat. Due to its low sugar content, Pavo WeightLift can also be fed to horses with laminitis, EMS (Equine Metabolic Syndrome), and insulin dysregulation.
Horses sensitive to sugar and starch
Many horses are sensitive to high amounts of sugar and starch. If these horses become thin or underweight, Pavo WeightLift can support them in gaining weight. Glucose metabolism, muscle metabolism, and the digestive system are not affected. Because Pavo WeightLift is grain-starch-free, the starch in it comes not from grains, but from rice bran. Starch from rice bran is digested more slowly and therefore has a lower impact on blood glucose levels than starch from conventional grains. It is thus a valuable and easily digestible energy source that contributes to weight gain.
Supports healthy digestion
Pavo WeightLift consists of small pellets with a high fiber content, primarily due to the high alfalfa content. This high fiber content supports healthy digestion. It also encourages the horse to chew thoroughly when feeding Pavo WeightLift dry, stimulating saliva production, which acts as a natural buffer against stomach acid. Additionally, it contains brewer's yeast, which can have a positive effect on the intestinal flora.
Tip: Add a mineral supplement or a mineralized concentrated feed to provide your horse with the daily required amount of vitamins and trace elements.
