SALVANA ICELANDIC BRIX are a grain-free mineral feed for Icelandic horses. The focus is on providing optimal sulfur levels and can therefore also be beneficial for horses with sweet itch. Thanks to their convenient treat-like shape (1.5 cm in diameter), SALVANA ICELANDIC BRIX are easy to feed by hand, minimizing waste.
Years of experience and research have shown that Icelandic horses differ from other horse breeds in their sulfur requirements. Due to a different basic feed composition in their original habitat, Icelandic horses have a higher sulfur requirement encoded in their gene pool. In Germany, sulfur must be supplemented through a special mineral feed formulated for Icelandic horses.
