Even the finest leather needs regular care and protection from the elements. All leather products should be cleaned regularly with high-quality leather soap and conditioned with high-quality leather oil. To clean, use a soft cloth and lukewarm water, carefully removing all dirt before conditioning the leather with a soft cloth and high-quality leather oil. Apply a thin, even layer of leather oil to all areas with a soft cloth. Ensure the leather oil is thoroughly absorbed into the leather.

Saddle parts such as girth straps and stirrup leathers should always be rubbed with slightly less oil than the rest of the saddle, but still enough to keep them soft and supple.
