Pavo SpeediBeet consists of high-quality crude fibers that optimally support healthy intestinal function. The flakes are processed using a patented manufacturing process (micronization) to create an excellent roughage substitute. These fast-soaking flakes can be fed after just 10 minutes of soaking.
Free from starch and molasses, and with a low sugar content of only 5%, it is an ideal roughage for horses where the starch and sugar content in their feed needs to be as low as possible. Horses prone to laminitis also benefit from this roughage substitute. Pavo SpeediBeet is even recommended by the Laminitis Trust Foundation recommended.
Pavo SpeediBeet has a high content of soluble fiber, primarily pectin. This means its fibers are even more easily digestible than those of hay. Therefore, SpeediBeet is an excellent source of slow-release energy – also ideal for sport horses.
The prebiotic effect of pectins supports the growth of healthy gut bacteria. This makes beet pulp easily digestible and particularly suitable for horses with sensitive gut flora, as well as for horses suffering from diarrhea, loose stools, or colic.
Tips for feeding SpeediBeet
When feeding Pavo SpeediBeet for the first time, introduce it gradually to your horse and initially mix it with its normal, soaked feed.

Pavo SpeediBeet contains no added vitamins or minerals. If you feed your horse exclusively SpeediBeet and roughage, then adding a mineral supplement is advisable.
Danger: Pavo SpeediBeet may under no circumstances dry Beet pulp should not be fed to horses. Therefore, always store the beet pulp in a tightly sealed container so that free-roaming horses cannot eat it.
